Apple Poised to Release the Smallest Mac mini Ever with M4 Pro Chip

Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch its smallest and most powerful Mac mini yet, anticipated for release by the end of 2024. According to insights from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this upcoming Mac mini will feature a significant redesign, marking the first major change in over a decade.

The new Mac mini, powered by the M4 chip, is rumored to be even more compact than its predecessors, potentially resembling the size of an Apple TV box, albeit slightly taller. Apple is also said to be developing a variant equipped with the M4 Pro chip, which would be the first mention of this more advanced version.

This revamped Mac mini is expected to offer performance on par with the latest iPad Pro, which debuted with the M4 chip earlier this year. The base model is speculated to hit the market later this year, with the M4 Pro variant possibly arriving in October 2024.
