Masimo, a global leader in medical technology, has teamed up with Qualcomm Technologies to develop an advanced smartwatch platform for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) using Wear OS by Google. This collaboration brings together Masimo's innovative biosensing technologies, designed for hospital-grade monitoring, with Qualcomm's powerful Snapdragon wearable platforms. The result is a cutting-edge reference platform that will help OEMs accelerate the development of high-performance smartwatches for health-conscious consumers.

The new platform integrates Masimo's health and wellness tracking tools, offering reliable and accurate data, and Qualcomm's energy-efficient Snapdragon chips to deliver a superior connectivity experience. OEMs will retain creative control over the smartwatch design, but the internal components—biosensors and processors—will be provided and tested by Masimo to ensure premium quality and performance.
