Summary

In a bid to revolutionize agricultural practices, software company PDRL launched its latest SaaS (Software as a Service) platform, BhuMeet, designed to connect farmers with drone service providers.

This cutting-edge platform helps farmers locate and hire drone operators based on their proximity and service history, ensuring quick and efficient service. By leveraging local expertise, BhuMeet aims to modernize farming techniques through the integration of drone technology, driving productivity and sustainability.

Anil Chandaliya, founder and CEO of PDRL, highlighted the platform's significance: "BhuMeet bridges the gap between farmers and reliable drone service providers, empowering the agricultural community to fully tap into drone technology’s benefits."

As India’s first SaaS platform tailored for this purpose, BhuMeet is set to play a transformative role in the agricultural sector, enabling farmers to increase efficiency and precision in their operations.

Currently, BhuMeet has launched pilot projects in select regions of South India and Gujarat, with plans to expand nationwide by the end of 2024, according to PDRL founder and CTO Vishal Dharankar. The platform supports six regional languages and has already onboarded over 100 drone service providers, making it accessible to farmers across various states.

BhuMeet not only enhances operational efficiency but also opens up the possibility of precision agriculture through drones, helping farmers monitor crop health, assess soil conditions, and even automate tasks like spraying pesticides.

As the demand for agriculture technology (AgTech) continues to grow, platforms like BhuMeet offer farmers a way to stay ahead of technological advancements and increase the yield of their land.
